Rooted in the Bauhaus, and evolved into Modern Southern Californian Lifestyle, the firm’s design concepts use subtle and stripped down forms and shapes, allowing the simplicity of mass and its material to govern. Light is used to modulate surfaces, and when possible, the designs diminish walls and expand glass. Abramson Teiger Architects received the highest design award given by The American Institute of Architects, The National Honor Award as well as eight other AIA awards for its design excellence.
