Two additional stories and a large skylight were added to this brownstone in order to create a light-filled home on the Upper West Side of New York City that could accommodate a large family with frequent overnight guests. The chef’s kitchen, generous living and dining rooms, and roof terrace support the activities of a family that likes to entertain. The original building was completely rehabilitated to include seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, three fireplaces, a new stair, and an elevator that services all floors.
